MANILA, Philippines—Typhoon “Neneng” has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility and would now set its course for one East Asian Nation, the weather bureau said Saturday.
In its typhoon bulletin issued at 5 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that “Neneng” is now outside the PAR and is heading towards the southern portion of Japan at a pace of 20 kilometers per hour.
Pagasa added that “Neneng” was last spotted at 1,240 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 4 am Saturday.
“Neneng” did not directly affect any part of the country despite packing maximum sustained winds of 175 kph and gusts of 210 kph.
