‘Neneng’ enters PAR, set to make quick exit on Saturday morning

MANILA, Philippines—After entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday, Typhoon “Neneng” is set to get out of the area on Saturday early morning, the weather bureau said.

In its typhoon bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that “Neneng” would continue its northwest track at a pace of 20 kilometers per hour for its early Philippine exit.

“Neneng” was last spotted at 1,260 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 10 a.m. with maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour and gusts of 210 kph.

Pagasa added that “Neneng” is too far away from the Philippine landmass to have an effect.
