MANILA, Philippines — Number coding will be lifted in Metro Manila on Monday, October 6, in observance of Eidul Adha, the Metro Manila Development Authority said.
This means that vehicles with plate numbers ending in 1 and 2 can pass by major Metro Manila roads.
The Eidul Adha is the second of two Islam holidays each year, with the other as Eidul Fitr. It is a celebration that commemorates the end of Hajj or the pilgrimage to Mecca.
