MANILA, Philippines—Rains are forecast over parts of the Visayas and Mindanao because of the intertropical convergence zone (which appears as band of clouds) affecting the areas, the weather bureau said.
In its early-morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao will have light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
