“There is no weather disturbance in the country but there is southwest monsoon in Mindanao,” Chris Perez of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Friday.
Localized thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila despite the absence of any weather disturbance.
“Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms,” Pagasa said in its afternoon bulletin.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
“Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the southwest to west over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate,” Pagasa said.
