Bata wins One Pocket title in Las Vegas
FILIPINO billiards master Efren “Bata” Reyes flashed his vintage form by winning the 2011 One Pocket Championships on Monday in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
According to US-based Jun Almoite, Reyes, the top player of Aristeo “Putch” Puyat, edged American Cris Gentile, 5-2, in the finals to win the $8,000 top prize and the championship trophy. Gentile one the other hand, received the runner-up purse of $4,400.
