Warm weather to prevail Thursday as high pressure area lingers

MANILA, Philippines—The ridge of a high pressure area continued to linger over northern Luzon on Thursday, as a result of which the country will experience a warm but cloudy weather, the weather bureau said.

In its early-morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the high pressure area would bring warm weather.

It added that the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
