Did you know: Jose Yulo 120th birth anniversary

Today, Sept. 24, is the 120th birth anniversary of lawyer and statesman Jose Yulo. Born in 1894, he finished law at the age of 19, the youngest graduate of the University of the Philippines Class of 1914. Throughout his career, Yulo served as justice secretary, speaker of the National Assembly and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He died on Oct. 27, 1976. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
