Did you know: Pantaleon Lopez death anniversary

Today, Sept. 22, is the 102nd death anniversary of playwright and dramatist Pantaleon Lopez. Born on July 27, 1872, in Pandacan, he is known for many of his plays including “Ang Infierno,” “Zarzuelang Tagalog,” Tindang Tagalog” and “La Independencia.” He died in 1912.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
