Two notorious drug dealers were caught with P5 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” in a fast food restaurant in Cubao, Quezon City on Monday night.
Arrested in the entrapment operation conducted by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) were Benigno Mendoza and Jaylord Turero, both of Pasig Green Park Village in Pasig City, who yielded 1.05 kilos of the illegal drugs.
Initial reports showed that the PDEA had long been looking for the two suspects who were known drug personalities.
They were finally caught as they were handing over to an undercover agent 1.05 kilos of shabu with a street value of P5 million.
Also recovered from them were a cell phone, a paper bag, an envelope and two marked P1,000 bills. Julie M. Aurelio
