MANILA, Philippines—A monsoon trough is expected to bring rains over Metro Manila and southern parts of Luzon on Tuesday, the weather bureau said.
In its forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the monsoon trough–tropical moisture carried onshore by the monsoon that often results in rainfall–would bring cloudy skies and light to moderate rains over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol region and the Visayas.
Pagasa added that the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
