MANILA, Philippines — Detained senator Juan Ponce Enrile on Friday morning arrived at the Sandignbayan for his graft arraignment.

Enrile left Camp Crame in Quezon City past 7:00 a.m. accompanied by a high security convoy from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Meanwhile, his co-accused alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles and his former chief of staff Jessica Lucila Reyes also appeared before the anti-graft court.

Napoles and Reyes arrived at the anti-graft court around 7:30 a.m. accompanied by a high security convoy from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

The two left their detention cell at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City early Friday.

Enrile was detained at the PNP General Hospital after being indicted of graft and plunder charges in connection with the multi-billion pork barrel scam.

Napoles was also charged with graft and plunder after she was tagged as the brains behind the P10-billion pork barrel scam wherein lawmakers allegedly funneled their Priority Development Assistance Fund, or pork barrel funds, to her fictitious government organizations.

Reyes, who is the former chief of staff of Enrile, is also charged with graft and plunder.
