Roberto Calupitan dies

MANILA, Philippines–Engineer Roberto “Bobby” Lacdan Calupitan died on Sept. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia “Didi” Picache Venida Calupitan, children Roberto and wife Bessie, Marcia, Alberto and Malot, Norberto, Criselda Calupitan-Waters, Emiline Calupitan-Lim and husband Chester, and AP video journalist Joeal and Rissa, and grandchildren.

His remains lie at Chapel 10, Heritage Park, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Interment will be on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 3 p.m. at Heritage Park.

Calupitan was the owner and general manager of MVC Construction and Supply, which built an airport in Camarines Norte and was part of the construction team that built Harrison Plaza and Century Park Sheraton Hotel in Manila.
