Man who survived flyover jump over marital woes now has medical bills to think of

MANILA, Philippines — Problems with his wife and family were the reasons why this man decided to jump from the Edsa-Timog flyover Wednesday, according to a radio report Thursday.

And now, adding to Ruel Adana’s woes‎ is where to get the money to pay for his medical bills at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City where he was brought after injuring himself in the incident that was caught on video that went viral, the report said.

Adana, 34, of Payatas in Quezon City was seen dangling from the flyover Wednesday, causing a slight traffic jam as motorists slowed down to look.

By the time rescuers were laying down a mattress to cushion his fall, A‎dana had jumped.
