MANILA, Philippines–An Australian national fell to his death from a hotel in Pasay City early Wednesday.
Initial reports reaching the Pasay City police operations said the incident happened at the Atrium Hotel on the corner of A. Luna Street and Buendia, across the JAC Liner terminal.
A Pasay officer who requested anonymity told INQUIRER.net that the still unnamed man died on the spot at around 5:15 a.m.
He said the Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco) are still in the area to conduct investigation.
Police have not determined yet whether the incident involved foulplay or a case of suicide.
In a report by Radyo Inquirer 990 AM, meanwhile, said the man landed first on the street electrical wires before he fell to the ground. This had caused a brownout in the area.
