BI to monitor wife of slain car racer Pastor at all ports of exit
MANILA, Philippines — The wife of slain car racer Enzo Pastor is now considered “a person of interest,” according to the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
BI Commissioner Siegred Mison explained that the agency would monitor the travel of Dahlia Pastor and would seek clearance from the Department of Justice should she appear in any port of exit.
“Persons of interest include suspects in a criminal investigation where law enforcement agencies, including the DOJ, may be interested in knowing their whereabouts,” explained BI Commissioner Siegfred Mison.
However, he said BI authorities couldn’t prevent the travel of such persons in the absence of any court order.
“We can only monitor their travel in aid of any criminal investigation,” he added.

“We’re not sure if it’s her but that’s the name that appeared on our database,” Tan said, adding that they would need other details like the birthdate, to verify a person’s BI records.
Police have linked Pastor’s wife to the crime after the alleged gunman, Police Officer 2 Edgar Angel, confessed.
In his confession, Angel said he was paid P100,000 by businessman Domingo de Guzman to kill Pastor. He claimed that De Guzman and Pastor’s wife were seeing each other.
