Several government officials have already completed the challenge including Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II, Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, Albay Governor Joey Salceda, Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Kim Henares.

However, some social media observers said taking the challenge was just for political spectacle, especially since there is no statistics about ALS in the Philippines.

Sereno said “my giving will be quiet so my answer will be quiet.”
