Car collision stalls traffic on C5 southbound–MMDA

MANILA, Philippines –Traffic was stalled on the southbound lane of Circumferential Road (C5) in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City after two vehicles collided on Wednesday morning.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Metrobase said a Honda City and Honda Accord collided in front of the Mazda Pasig showroom, causing a traffic build-up on C5.

An MMDA Metrobase officer told INQUIRER.net over the phone that one of the four lanes of C5 southbound has been occupied due to the accident.

As of 10:15 a.m., the officer said traffic investigators have yet to respond to the ‎scene of the accident.

No one was hurt in the incident.
