DZIQ: QCPD tracker team hunts down driver of bus in journalist’s death

MANILA, Philippines – A tracker team has been formed to hunt down the driver of the bus that rammed the taxi journalist Lourdes “Chit” Estella-Simbulan was riding Friday, a Radyo Inquirer report stated Monday.

The report said that a Quezon City Police District tracker team was searching for Daniel Espinosa, the driver of the Universal Guiding Star bus that figured in the accident, in Taytay, Rizal and Caloocan where his family and relatives lived.

In the absence of sufficient leads, the pursuit operation could extend to Davao del Sur where Espinosa was born, the report stated.
