MANILA, Philippines—Rains are expected in parts of the country’s south as the intertropical convergence zone affects the Visayas, the weather bureau said Thursday.
In its early-morning weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Visayas and the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Bicol will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that Palawan, Mindoro island and the three Davao provinces will have similar weather condition.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
