Truck accident causes traffic gridlock on Roxas Bvd. in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines–Traffic slowed down along Roxas Blvd. near corner of Buenda Ave. in Pasay City as ‎two trailer trucks and one dump truck collided on its northbound lane, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said on Wednesday morning.

An MMDA Metrobase officer told ‎INQUIRER.net over the phone that the accident occurred 6:39 a.m. at the approaches to the Roxas Blvd. flyover.

‎The officer said no one was reported injured in the collision.

The two northbound lanes on the intersection of Roxas Blvd. and Buendia (both on the flyover and below it) experienced gridlock, but as of 7:41 a.m., traffic has eased as the trucks involved in the accidents had been towed away.
