Grenade explosion in Tondo bridge

MANILA, Philippines–A hand grenade allegedly carried by men riding tandem on a motorcycle Thursday morning exploded on the southbound lane of the Del Pan bridge in Tondo, Manila.

Radyo Inquirer 990 AM reported that the still unidentified men attempted to hurl the gre‎nade towards a sport utility vehicle passing through the bridge. But the grenade fell from the hand of the supposed thrower and exploded as it landed on the pavement.
