MANILA, Philippines—Two men were shot dead by policemen after allegedly robbing a UV Express van along Quezon Avenue on Wednesday afternoon in Quezon City.
Patrolling policemen gunned down the duo while attempting to escape from the scene along Sto. Domingo Church at the corner of Quezon and Araneta avenues.
Radyo Inquirer 990 AM reported that the still unidentified men held up five to seven passengers on the public utility vehicle from Fairview, Quezon City.
No passengers were reported hurt in the incident.
Police investigation is still ongoing.
