MANILA, Philippines—A small fire broke out on the 35th floor of the Citibank tower in Makati City on Wednesday afternoon but it was quickly put out.
Radyo Inquirer 990 AM’s Jay Dones tweeted that the rooftop of the skyscraper caught fire due to the building’s faulty cooling system.
The fire, which started at 2:22 p.m., reached first alarm but it was put out shortly before 3 p.m.
No one was reported injured in the incident.
