MANILA, Philippines–Most of the country will experience fair weather on Wednesday as the southwest monsoon will affect only the northern edges of the Philippines, the state weather bureau said.
In its early-morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday the southwest monsoon, which triggers rain, will only slightly affect Batanes and the Calayan and Babuyan groups of islands.
Pagasa said these affected areas will experience occasional rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
