Court: Gigi Reyes going nowhere, will stay in Bicutan jail with Napoles

MANILA, Philippines—Jessica Lucila “Gigi” Reyes will remain at the cramped Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) female dormitory at Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig City with co-accused Janet Lim-Napoles.
The Sandiganbayan Third Division denied on Tuesday Reyes’ urgent motion for recommendation to transfer her at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center, division clerk of court Dennis Pulma said.
The motion of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile’s detained staff was denied for lack of merit, according to Pulma.
Reyes filed the motion last July 9.
The court also ordered the BJMP not to remove or relocate Reyes from its custody.
Reyes is being detained for her alleged involvement in the P10-billion pork barrel scam.
