MANILA, Philippines – Fire of still undetermined origin hit a three-story commercial building on Adriatico Street near the corner of Malvar Street in Malate, Manila, early Sunday evening.
The blaze was first reported to the Paco Fire Station around 7 p.m., and firefighters initially raised second alarm. They later raised the alarm to third and eventually fourth alarm in just a space of one hour.
The building houses a Chinese restaurant and a KTV bar on the ground floor and the Star Gate Pensione on the second and third floors.
