MANILA, Philippines—The father of hazing victim Guillo Cesar Servando said he has gotten past the angry stage with Tau Gamma members who tortured his son.
During Thursday’s preliminary investigation, Aurelio Servando, for the first time, came face to face with the suspects in the death of his son.
“I am beyond the angry stage now though I’m still sad,” the elder Servando told reporters in a chance interview after the proceedings.
But he said they will continue fighting to get justice for his son.
On the other hand, the prosecution panel gave Luis Solomon Arevalo and Jomar Pajarito up to August 7 to submit their supplemental affidavit while the respondents who have yet to file their respective counter-affidavits have until Aug. 14 to do so.
Lawyer Raymond Fortun who appeared for Tau Gamma Phi La Salle Alumni Association asked the Department of Justice panel of prosecutors that they be given copies of documents submitted by the witnesses and suspects.
“The association would like to help in this case and if we may be allowed to have a copy of these documents, even if we are a non-party to the case, we would be very glad,” Fortun said.
