Binglens improves to 3-1 in PPBC hoop
TEAM Binglens skippered by Bing Abbu beat Wilkris of Marlou Monreal, 93-87 over the weekend for its 3rd win in four outings in the Punta Princesa Ball Club (PPBC)-2011 Second Conference basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
Binglens led from start to finish but failed to completely dominate the tough-fighting Wilkris as it posted its biggest lead of just eight points, 52-44 in the second half.
Richard Gallardo led Binglens with a game-high 19 points while Rod Zafra and Dondon Yap combined for 27 markers. Tony Belande and Jun Pahamutang paced Wilkris (2-2) with 19 and 16 markers, respectively.
