MANILA, Philippines—With a low pressure area traversing the eastern seaboards of the country, the weather bureau said Tuesday that rains may fall in some parts of the country.
In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the low pressure area was last spotted at 990 kilometers east of Appari, Cagayan at 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, the provinces of Zambales and Bataan will have occasional rains.
Pagasa added that other parts of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
