Bomb scare hits Navotas school

MANILA, Philippines — Failing to find any explosive device after an hour-long search, police theorized a bomb scare that forced the suspension of classes at the Navotas Polytechnic College in Navotas City on Wednesday morning was sent by someone not prepared to take scheduled examinations.

Police said the bomb threat was sent to a professor via two text messages and this was in turn reported to  NPC president Francisca Roque, who immediately suspended classes.

The Navotas Police  conducted a paneling and clearing operation around the campus but failed to find any bomb after an hour-long search.
