Did you know: Apolinario Mabini’s 150th birth anniversary

Today, July 23, is the 150th birth anniversary of hero and patriot Apolinario Mabini. Born in 1864, he is known as the “Brains of the Revolution” and “Sublime Paralytic.” Mabini was a member of La Liga Filipina and a trusted adviser of Emilio Aguinaldo. He died of cholera on May 13, 1903, at the age of 38.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
