MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) raised Signal No. 1 in four areas as Tropical Depression “Henry” continued to travel in the seas Monday morning.

In its weather bulletin, Pagasa placed Batanes Group of Islands, Cagayan, Babuyan group of Islands, and Calayan Group of Islands under Signal No.1.

As of 4 am, Henry was located at 340 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes packing peak winds of 130 kilometers per hour and gusts of 160 kph while travelling at a pace of 20 kph.

Pagasa said Henry would enhance the southwest monsoon and is expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Aurora Province.
