MANILA, Philippines–An 18-year-old man is facing theft charges in Valenzuela City after a policeman caught him and his cohort allegedly stealing a motorcycle parked at an establishment near the city police headquarters.

P03 Roberto Santillan was waiting for a jeepney ride around 9 p.m. Wednesday on MacArthur Highway in Karuhatan when he saw two men on a motorbike going back and forth before stopping in front of Tully’s coffee shop.

One of the men got off and managed to start the engine of another bike that was parked in front of the shop. Santillan approached the men but was able to grab only one of them.
