Graft arraignment of Enrile co-accused canceled

MANILA, Philippines—The Sandiganbayan Third Division on Thursday canceled Friday’s arraignment of the co-accused of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile in the graft case in connection with the pork barrel scam.
Clerk of Court Atty. Dennis Pulma said this is due to the pending motion of the prosecution to amend the graft charge sheet.
However, the arraignment of Enrile’s co-accused in the plunder case, Atty. Jessica Lucila “Gigi” Reyes, will push through Friday, Pulma said.
Reyes, Enrile’s resigned chief of staff, failed to attend Enrile’s arraignment last week due to her health condition.
