MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan first division on Thursday postponed the graft pre-trial of Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. that was already previously reset to August 27.
This was to give way for the pending motion of the prosecution to amend the graft charge of Revilla over his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
The court, however, has yet to set a date.
The defense was given 10 days to file a comment of opposition while the prosecution was given five days to respond upon receipt of such comment.
Thereafter, such motion would be deemed submitted for resolution.
The court also deferred the arraignment of Revilla’s co-accused in graft to September 4, 8:30 a.m.
