MANILA, Philippines — After their services were halted on Wednesday due to the onslaught of Typhoon “Glenda,” the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) will resume operations Thursday morning.
In a Twitter advisory, Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) Spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said train operations would be back to normal 5:00 a.m. Thursday.
“LRT and MRT now with sufficient power supply, will resume operations at 5:00 a.m.,” he said.
