MANILA,Philippines — After his arraignment at the Sandiganbayan, Senator Juan Ponce Enrile is back at the Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital in Camp Crame before noon Friday.

Enrile left the anti-graft court at around 10:40 a.m. and arrived at the police hospital shortly after 11:00 a.m.

Enrile was boarded in an ambulance escorted by several police mobile units.

On Friday morning, the Sandiganbayan Third Division entered a not guilty plea for Enrile during his arraignment after refusing to enter one.

The senator is on temporary hospital arrest  due to his medical condition but was allowed by PNP doctors to attend his scheduled arraignment after his blood pressure was recorded as normal.
