Gigi Reyes rushed to hospital

MANILA, Philippines–Shortly after Jessica Lucila “Gigi” Reyes was brought to a female dormitory at Camp Bagong Diwa, she was rushed to hospital before dawn Thursday.

A member of the Public Order and Safety Office (Poso) assigned in the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital confirmed that the former chief of staff of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile arrived around 1 a.m.

Celestino Roldan, chief of Poso assigned in the area, said Reyes was in a private room.
He declined to provide more details.

Media reports, however, said Senator Juan Ponce Enrile’s former aide was diagnosed with neurocirculatory asthma, and that she has been experiencing palpitation and shortness of breath.

On Wednesday, Reyes was ordered to be ‎detained in a Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) female dormitory in Taguig City.

She arrived ‎there on an ambulance at around 11:20 p.m.

‎Reyes was temporarily detained in a cell in Sandiganbayan after she surrendered to the anti-graft court following the issuance of an arrest warrant against her for plunder over the pork barrel scam.
