2 bodies found in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines — Two lifeless bodies were found in Barangay (village) Concepcion in Malabon City at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, both with bullet wounds in the head, police said.

A report filed  by Senior Police Officer 1 Edsel dela Paz and Police Officer 3 Jun Belbes said the body of Augusto Flores, 34, a local resident, was found first on an alley named Sto. Niño in Barangay Concepcion.

A short while later, the body of a man identified only as “Sioning” reportedly from somewhere in Bicol was found on the Lambingan Bridge, also in Barangay Concepcion, the report said.

The report said a small sealed plastic sachet containing shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) was found in Flores’ house.

The motive for the killings or their perpetrators were yet to be determined.
