Jinggoy Estrada, Janet Napoles go to Sandigan for bail hearing

MANILA, Philippines–Two high-profile pork barrel scam detainees Janet Lim-Napoles and ‎Senator Jinggoy Estrada left their detention cells to attend separately their bail petition hearing for plunder at the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division on Tuesday morning.

Napoles, carried by the usual security entourage, left her detention bungalow at Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna at about 7 a.m.

Meanwhile, the police convoy bearing Estrada left the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center at 7:49 a.m.

Estrada and Napoles asked the anti-graft court that they be allowed to post bail for their plunder charges.

Plunder is a non-bailable offense.
