Stepping up the campaign against dengue fever, the Taguig City government has launched the “4 O’Clock Habit.”
In this drive, local health officials and community leaders will go around villages in the afternoon on weekdays to give away antidengue kits and insect repelling plants like oregano, as well as conduct cleanup operations on stagnant waterways and pools that could serve as breeding ground for disease-carrying mosquitos.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano on Friday said the health and sanitation drive will be intensified despite the 50-percent drop in dengue cases in Taguig in 2013 compared to the figures of the previous year. Maricar B. Brizuela
