Enrile leaves Makati home
MANILA, Philippines – An hour after the Sandiganbayan issued the warrant of arrest for Juan Ponce Enrile, the senator left his residence in Makati City and was now on his way to the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters to undergo booking procedures.
A security entourage of up to 10 vehicles carrying Enrile, reportedly with his children Katrina and Jack, left Dasmarinas Village shortly before 4:30 p.m.
The Sandiganbayan third division on Friday found probable cause to try Senator Juan Ponce Enrile for plunder and graft in connection with the pork barrel scam.
The PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has received the copy of the arrest warrant.
