MANILA, Philippines-With a low pressure area embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), rains are expected to fall in the southern and central parts of the Philippines, the weather bureau said.
In its weather bulletin the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA was spotted at 850 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes.
Pagasa added that the Bicol region, Visayas, and Mindanao would experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains.
