MANILA, Philippines—One of the suspects in the fatal death of alleged hazing victim Guillo Cesar Servando surrendered to police on Tuesday afternoon, a radio report said.
The report said the suspect, whose name was withheld, is undergoing custodial investigation at the Manila Police District (MPD).
The report quoted MPD spokesperson Chief Inspector Erwin Margarejo as saying the suspect may be turned over to the Makati City police since the hazing rites according to the suspect took place in Palanan, Makati.
The suspect is a member of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity.
Police are now looking for the other fratmen who are allegedly responsible for the brutal hazing rites that killed the 18-year-old student.
