MANILA, Philippines–The government prosecutor’s act of amending the plunder charge on the pork barrel scam shows how weak the case is, lawyer Stephen David, counsel for Janet Lim-Napoles said Thursday.

“There really is no plunder. They filed a hastily prepared case,” David told reporters.

He said while they believe there was no plunder, Napoles allowed herself to be arraigned so that in case the information filed by the prosecution was dismissed, they cannot refile the case.
