MANILA, Philippines — The lawyer of Janet Lim-Napoles said the Sandiganbayan has produced a notice of release order for Janet Lim-Napoles to be arraigned on Thursday.
Atty. Faye Singson said her client would attend her arraignment at the anti-graft court for her plunder and graft charges over the pork barrel scam.
The order was addressed to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police,
Napoles would be arraigned as co-accused in the case against Senator Ramon Revilla Jr.
The Sandiganbayan is hearing the biggest corruption scandal under the current administration – the alleged pillaging of public funds to ghost projects for kickbacks through the bogus foundations of alleged mastermind Napoles.
Charged for plunder and graft are Napoles, and Senators Revilla, Juan Ponce Enrile, and Jinggoy Estrada. Revilla and Estrada have surrendered to the police.
