MANILA, Philippines – With the rainy season having started and the southwest monsoon hovering, the weather bureau on Tuesday said that clouds and rains were to be expected.
In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the southwest monsoon (Habagat) would still affect the western part of Luzon.
Pagasa added that the provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan would experience occasional rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
