Residents in Manila can get into the Museo Pambata for free on June 24 as the city celebrates its 443rd founding anniversary.
The free entrance offering is part of the “Manila: My Favorite Place!” exhibit from June 24 to July 10 which will feature the city’s top officials and their favorite places in Manila.
“People will be given the chance to take a stroll through our capital and witness its beauty through its rich history and colorful stories,” Museo Pambata said in a statement.
Mayor Joseph Estrada, Vice Mayor Francisco “Isko” Domagoso and city councilors will share through the exhibit their fondest memories of their favorite places in the city.
To get into the exhibit for free, Manila residents should present a valid ID with their address. The children’s museum is located on Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive and is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Tuesdays, there is no entrance fee although on normal days, all Manila residents with valid IDs can get in at half the price.
The entrance fees at National Museum on Burgos Street, Ermita, Manila Zoo in Adriatico, Casa Manila Museum and the Lights and Sounds Museum in Intramuros will also be waived on June 24.
