MANILA, Philippines—Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. filed a motion before the Sandiganbayan on Friday for him to be able to select his cell in Camp Crame, his lawyer Joel Bodegon said.

Bodegon said Revilla wanted to be detained at the Philippine National Police custodial center.

This after Revilla arrived to the anti-graft court for him to surrender over his plunder charges amid an existing arrest warrant.
But Bodegon said Revilla did not “surrender” because the warrant was not served.

He added that Revilla merely “submitted” himself to the court.

As of press time, Revilla is in the sheriff office for the processing of his submission, Bodegon said.
